Digital Photography has finally come of age.
Bridal Image Photography began shooting all of their wedding digitally in 2003 using Nikon professional quality digital
cameras. These are full body cameras that utilise interchangeable lenses in exactly the same way as Nikon 35 mm film cameras.
The advantages of digital cannot be over emphasised.
The photographer has the ability to instantly review each image if desired to determine the accuracy of the composition or
to assess if someone in the group blinked as the shutter fired.
As the cost of buying film and having it developed and printed has been removed, your photographer has the freedom to
shoot as many photographs as they need to. This in turn leads to more variety in the style of photographs taken.
Image quality from the 17 MB digital files captured is easily good enough to allow full resolution, A3+ prints to be made.
Changing lighting conditions can be addressed instantly by adjusting the cameras sensitivity. Switching from group
photographs in bright sunlight to candid shots in dimly lit rooms can be accommodated within seconds.
But what does this mean in practice for you, the Bride and Groom?
Well, the following outline some of the main benefits of taking event photographs digitally, but they are certainly not
exhaustive.
. Virtually unlimited number of photographs can be taken
. Photographs can be viewed on our laptops at your wedding reception.
. Guest can place orders for photographs at the wedding reception.
. Black & White or Sepia Toned conversions can be made almost instantly.
. Proofs and final prints can be selected from a CD of all photographs taken at the wedding.
. A selection of your photographs canl be uploaded to a secure web site for viewing and online ordering .
